Can a renter still buy a shed?
Yes! Even if you’re renting your home, you can still install sheds on the property and take it with you when you leave. Ask our team about shed installation options for rental properties. (We also advise you to clear it with your landlord after we’ve provided you with all the necessary information.)
My HOA has strict rules. Are your storage sheds HOA-approved?
When you design your own shed, you can choose from an array of options from floor to ceiling, including roof pitch, architectural style, doors, windows, color, siding, and more. Our shed experts in Youngsville and Wilson have experience with Franklin County and Wilson County HOA guidelines and can help ensure compliance.
How should I prepare for shed delivery and installation?
The site where we place your new storage shed should be:
- Chosen before your building arrives.
- Clear of furniture, debris, and other obstructions.
- No more than 8 inches off level.
- Have 6 feet of clearance on either end for maneuvering the building.
- Accessible via a path of at least 2 feet wider than your building and 14 feet high.
Our shed delivery driver will block the site by placing concrete bricks as a foundation to keep your building level and off the ground. The building will be set on the block by a machine similar to a forklift. The delivery driver will make sure your building is stable and level.
If you prefer, you can also have a poured concrete slab sized and ready for your shed. This foundation is more permanent than concrete blocks, making it a solution for certain shed uses.

Do I pay a separate shed installation fee?
Every shed purchase includes free delivery and professional installation within 50 miles of our store locations in Youngsville or Wilson. You pay nothing extra for this white-glove service.

Do your sheds come with a warranty?

Is it more expensive to build a custom shed compared to buying one pre-built from your lot?
No, a custom shed and a brand-new prebuilt shed with the same features cost the same. We never upcharge for custom buildings. However, if you’re seeking significant savings, we sometimes offer gently-used sheds at our Youngsville and Wilson locations on a first-come, first-served basis. Can I use your storage shed as a tiny home or accessory dwelling?
Customers who buy our sheds use them for a variety of purposes, including for storage, barns, she sheds, man caves, and even tiny homes. Keep in mind that if you purchase one of our sheds to use as a tiny home, you’ll need to finish and outfit the interior of the home to your liking.
